Making Art Out of Nature

IMG_1969
If you look around, do you see a pinecone? A twig? Some sticks? But do you see a sculpture? In “Found Sculpture,” we look for the sculpture in a big box of acorns, pinecones, twigs, sticks, leaves, and anything else you can find outside. And the super glue keeps the sculpture a long keep project, so you can use it to decorate.

This is a very cool sculpture. I think the animal seems to have a real personality; something about the tilt of the head or the very long tail. I look forward to seeing the other sculptures created by this group.

Great Sculpture and I love the long view to the lake and seeing the Domes in construction. It’s fun to read the Beam Blog and see the cool stuff you are doing. Hi Jacob and Sylvie!

Is it a llama or a vicuna? I’m on the fence.

This is a fine example to the elusive Pinconius-stickathaurus, Quite rare but known to have roamed as far south as Moultonborough NH in the pale lithographic period. This is clearly a female specimen as the male has an upward curved spiny tailbone.
